CDI Heated Vest: Constructed of 100% windproof fire retardant polyester. The CDI heated vest is ergonomically designed to fit the body snugly and gives warmth when required.
The vest comes with all necessary fittings and on/off switch, no need to unplug. Heat vest works best over a T-shirt and under a jacket.
This vest works with a 12 volt battery and provides 35 watts of heat and draws 2.9 amps of current for size 34 / 45 watts of heat; drawing 3.7 amps of current for size 36 to 52 / 71 watts of heat; drawing 5.9 amps of current for sizes 54 and 56.
Battery cord is 20" long and the switch cord without expansion is 30" and easily expands to 45".
Pro Tech Temperature Controller
The Pro Tech Temperature Controller is stylishly designed and is a true variable controller with a built-in rotary on and off switch. Controller ensures that your heated clothing uses only as much power as required depending on how much you want to heat your garment.
The Pro Tech Controller has one output but you can control up to three to four heated clothing items (if they are interconnected to each other) with it, if total power used by all heated clothing is not more than 10 amps.
Includes an overload, short circuit and reverse polarity protection feature. Light weight, weighing only 146g/5.2 oz. Comes with a convenient clip-on case for easy placement of your portable temperature controller. Note: When installing, make sure that the coiled wire coming from the controller is fixed to the battery cord and the straight wire coming out of controller gets connected to the heating apparel. |

Yes, it comes with an on/off switch and the wiring harness.
4. What is the Cigarette Plug/SAE Cable for?
The cigarette plug connector allows you to plug into a cigarette lighter outlet instead of wiring into the battery.
5. In order for it to work do you need all 3 items?
No, the vest will attach to the battery and work by itself. The optional accessory temperature controller will automatically maintain a constant temperature, without the need to turn it on and off manually with the standard switch. The cigarette plug allows you to use a cigarette plug, if your sled has the cigarette lighter outlet.
